Crabcake

Located in Nags Head 'Crabcake' features a private pool and easy beach access. This Outer Banks beach home has all new carpeting throughout the home and new appliances in the kitchen. The lower level has been completely remodeled this year and the entire outside of the house was just repainted in 2011. Also new for 2011 is a shuffleboard table in the living area and 3 new picnic tables for additional outside seating. 4 of the bathrooms in Crabcake have been remodeled with new paint, fixtures and granite vanity tops.

Crabcake is pet-friendly and has 7 bedrooms, 7 full and 1 half baths. There is a rec room with pool table and a wet bar. The gas fireplace is available from mid September until the end of April. 9 TVs including a 50" plasma in the great room, 5 DVD, 3 VCR, VHS library, iPod docking station with CD, wireless internet access (please bring your laptop computer), outdoor speakers in pool area, basketball goal and gas grill. child friendly features include playpen, high chair and pack-n-play. Please note the garage is not available.

Outside amenities include a horseshoe pit and outside shower with toilet. Crabcake is located at Milepost 14.5 in Nags Head. Distance to beach access is approximately 575 feet.

Bed Sizes: 3 kings, 2 queens, 2 twins, 2 pyramid bunks and 2 trundles.

All bed linens and towels are furnished and beds are made prior to arrival. A starter set of toilet paper, paper towels and hand soaps is provided. Village Realty will clean the home on check out day (Saturday).

Nearby restaurants include Tortuga's Lie ~ fresh seafood with an island flair ... Owen's on the Beach Road ... Lone Cedar on the Causeway to Manteo and Sugar Creek, also on the causeway. Also drive down the beach road to our personal favorite Food Dudes at MP 9.5 in KDH.

Take a day trip to Manteo on Roanoke Island and visit the Elizabeth II and the NC Aquarium. If you are a gardener you won't want to miss the Elizabethan Gardens.

Back in Nags Head a visit and maybe even a climb up Jockey's Ridge is a must. Relive history at the Wright Brothers Monument in Kill Devil Hills; the kids will love it.
